Kirchwegergut in Pasching in Upper Austria stands for pumpkin seed oil of the best quality. At the Alpe Adria oil award the oil of the small family business won gold and also the 1st place at the Öl-Kaiser (Oil Emperor) competition in Wels. Pumpkins and pumpkin products from the regional supplier are known far beyond the region’s borders.
A particularly atmospheric vaulted room of the estate was given a new floor. The choice was a floor coating which won over with its numerous advantages: mechanical and chemical resistance, enclosed surface, easy cleaning, simple maintenance, creative and unique design possibilities.
The design of the coating is determined by the company colours. In a flow coating by the experienced fabricators of Beschichtungstechnik Hahn, they were perfectly staged as colour accents and look like oil spots running along the floor.
Priming of the screed with an area of 80 m2 was carried out with Epoxy-based Resin EP 70 BM. Then came the EP 70 BM Scratch Coating mixed with Quartz Sand QS 98 (grain 0.3 – 0.8 mm) in 1:1 ratio.
The coating was done with EP 2 Epoxy Base Coat as a flow coating in the colours mother-of-pearl, orange and gold. For the sealing Epoxy Topcoat EP 100 TC was processed for a shiny finish.
