Schreiner Group, located in Oberschleissheim, Bavaria has grown since its founding more than 65 years ago from a small start-up in a garage to an international high-tech producer of special labels and self-adhesive functional parts. The former label printing company manufactures any and everything adhesive, sophisticated, innovative and multifunctional. One example is the Austrian motorway sticker. A new “green” administrative building was recently constructed on the company premises.
Kaufmann-Fussbodentechnik GmbH laid various types of floor coverings with Murexin products on a total area of 4630 m²: extremely hard-wearing and wear-resistant spherical yarn flooring from Fabromont in the corridors, very robust spherical fleece flooring in the offices, Polyflor vinyl design flooring from Objectflor and linoleum flooring from Forbo. In the course of the preparatory work, the existing substrate was first primed with D7 Penetrating Primer and levelled with Maximo M 61 Levelling Compound.
A total of 4230 m² spherical yarn and spherical fleece were laid with the Special Linoleum and Carpet Adhesive DK 74. Linotex Pro D 494 was used to fully bond around 200 m² of linoleum flooring and 200 m² of vinyl design flooring with D 495 Design Covering Adhesive. In addition, about 3000 running metres of Hoco skirting boards were installed with the Special Adhesive X-Bond MS-K88 Express.
Synergy between the high-quality flooring and the right adhesive in combination with professional installation guarantees a durable floor and is a symbol of quality that underlines the high expectations of the Schreiner Group. Design Covering Adhesive D 495 is the perfect answer to design vinyl and polyolefin flooring as it is fibre-reinforced and can be used as both wet and pressure sensitive adhesive.
